LARC Healthcare Assistant (Dorset)

Mid Hampshire Healthcare (MHH) is seeking a caring, compassionate and motivated Healthcare Assistant to join our growing Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) Service across Dorset.
Working alongside experienced clinicians, you'll support the delivery of high-quality women's health services by assisting with clinics, preparing clinical environments, supporting patients before, during and after procedures, maintaining accurate patient records, and helping to ensure our clinics run safely and efficiently. This is a varied and rewarding role offering the opportunity to develop specialist skills in women's health within a supportive and forward-thinking healthcare organisation.
Essential Requirements
- Healthcare Assistant qualification and/or relevant clinical experience.
- Experience working within a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Understanding of patient confidentiality and infection prevention and control.
- Ability to travel between clinic locations across Dorset.
Desirable
- Experience working within women's health, sexual health, primary care or community healthcare.
- Experience using EMIS Web.
- Experience undertaking patient observations and supporting minor procedures.
- Chaperone training.

Enhanced Access Receptionist (Alternate Saturdays)
Location: - Alresford Surgery Hub, Hampshire
Hours: - Alternate Saturdays, 09:00 – 17:00
Salary: - DOE

Mid Hampshire Healthcare (MHH) is seeking a friendly and organised Receptionist to support our Enhanced Access Service at our Alresford Surgery Hub.
This patient-facing role involves welcoming patients, managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting clinicians, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of clinics. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills, strong IT literacy, and the ability to work effectively in a busy healthcare environment.
Essential Requirements
- Previous reception, administration, or customer service experience.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Good IT literacy.
Desirable
- Experience working within a GP Practice, NHS, or healthcare setting.
- Experience using EMIS Web.
