FIRE SAFETY SERVICE |
Research shows that if you are over the age of 60 you are at a higher risk of dying in a fire in your home. If you are aged 65 and over, you are twice as likely to die in a fire compared to the average for all ages. This risk increases if you smoke, drink or have a physical and/or learning disability. We offer a free home safety visit for the most vulnerable members of our community. Working with other agencies from health and social care, to make sure that if you fall into the above criteria you have a free home safety visit, which will help you to stay safe in your home.
