Cruse Bereavement Care is here to support you after the death of someone close. If someone you know has died and you need to talk.  Face-to-face and group support is delivered by trained bereavement support volunteers across the UK.

We also offer information, publications, and support for children.

WINCHESTER BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT
Winchester Bereavement Support is a registered charity. It is a voluntary organisation, offering a confidential support service to bereaved people in Winchester and the surrounding area.
Support is given through home visits by carefully selected and trained volunteers. These volunteers are called Bereavement Visitors.

WINCHESTER CANCER SUPPORT CENTRE
Counselling, Aromatherapy massage, reflexology, befriendng, information library, Reiki, Mindfulness, Bereavement Support Group.

COST:  Donations welcome, support us by hosting a fundraising event.

ROMSEY CANCER SUPPORT CENTRE (JANE SCARTH HOUSE)
The centre provides emotional support, practical help and information to those affected by cancer and their families/carers. All services are provided free of charge to those who are within travelling distance of Romsey and we have street level access.
 
As well as a comprehensive library of information, the centre offers a range of relaxing complementary therapies and specialist one to one counselling. Meditation techniques and Mindfulness practice are also available.

Bereavement Support Lunches available to those who have lost a partner or spouse.
 
The centre is open Monday to Friday 10.00am to 4,30pm.

BUTTERFLIES BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT

In response to suggestions from group users and those who would like to come but are unsure, we have made some significant changes to how groups are run, and already we are seeing greater responses.

TUESDAY - Every Week

Drop in and Chat 

The Coffee Shop

10:30am - 12 noon

 Join us for informal chat with our experienced listeners, focused discussions, friendship, speakers and more.   You just need to buy your drink and then join us in the function room. Look out for our banner.

 WEDNESDAYS  - 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month

Bereavement Cafe and Support Group

1pm - 2.30pm

Wisdom Centre, Romsey, Hampshire. SO51 8EL

( come through the archway by Lloyds TSB - pass the Abbey Church rooms and you will find a large entrance on the left with the Daughters of Wisdom sign - go in there and we are the 2nd building on the left)

 Join us for our new look bereavement cafe where we have coffee and cake, followed by chats and focused support sessions and in the sitting room we have listeners who are looking for quiet reflection and the wish to talk about your own needs and wishes. Come for the whole session or just part of the session. All Welcome

 A suggested donation of £3 to cover refreshments and room hire is appreciated 

 WEDNESDAYS  - 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month

 We meet in the comfort of the sitting room for coffee and then discuss how bereavement affects us and work as a group to share experiences and help to journey together carrying the memories of our loved ones with us.
