| This network is in the Southampton area and provides somewhere to have a chat, meet other people, share your experiences, make new friends & gain information from the experiences of others. Share advice and information about services and facilities available for children with Aspergers Syndrome and together influence attitudes about autism. Also provide social activities for all the family - i.e. outings and club facilities. A friendship group has been set up for adults and older teenagers (16+) to meet fortnightly, and to take part in activities and have social outings. Workshops on a variety of subjects are also available occasionally to develop social skills, confidence and self esteem.
