We are open Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 9am and 4pm and have a variety of activities on offer. We also run a lunch club for those who are more able. Transport can be provided within our catchment area as we have an adapted mini-bus. We provide a variety of social activities every week, including exercise classes for all abilities, lunch groups and singing for wellbeing as well as regular outings to places of interest and an annual holiday. We provide volunteer support for people in their own homes through regular befriending visits and our telephone link service. We also provide transport to our clubs and for one off trips to things such as hairdresser or doctor's appointment. Our ‘Welcome Home’ from hospital service is available for anyone recently discharged from RHCH who requires additional short term support. If you know someone who would benefit from being a Member or you are interested in Volunteering with us then please contact us. Sporting Memories clubs are open to any people over the age of 50 who enjoy reminiscing about their experiences of watching or playing Sport. They take place each week in friendly, welcoming environments – Many of our members attend to enjoy the company of other older sports fans, some live with dementia or have memory problems, some have experienced depression, they may have had a stroke or live with Parkinson's – but they all have one thing in common, a love for sport! New friendships are forged and some remarkable stories can emerge over a cup of tea! All our local groups incorporate gentle physical activities such as Skittles, New Age Kurling and Boccia.
