We provide a Primary Care 'Hub and Spoke' Secretarial Support Service to help manage the referral workload within GP Practices. We provide this service for our GP Federation Member Practices but also to any other GP Practice nationally who use both EMIS Web and Lexacom (dictation software). Our Member Practices find this very useful to cover holiday, sickness, recruitment gaps and any other referral workload demands they have.
Routine referrals can be directed to our dedicated secretarial team who will complete all typing within the patients EMIS record, create the referral (whether private or through the e-Referral portal) and will send all relevant paperwork to the patient. So a true end to end service provided.
Referrals that have been directed to our Hub will be completed within 48 hours.
