LEG ULCER MANAGEMENT

Mid Hampshire Healthcare is now commissioned to provide a community Leg Ulcer Management service for patients aged 18 and above, resident in Hampshire and who are not housebound.

The definition of a Leg Ulcer is a loss of skin, below the knee on the leg or foot which fails to heal within 6 weeks (Dale, 1995)

If you have such a condition act fast as this will help reduce the healing time and further complications. Contact your registered GP Practice who will be able to access your wound and put together a management care plan.

If you're a housebound patient then this service is provided by Southern Healths Community Care Team (CCT)
